NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — U.S. hockey team general manager David Poile is recovering from a third surgery after being hit with an errant puck to the face Feb. 6 that broke his nose and cracked bone around one of his eyes.

The 6th annual Teddy Bear Toss in memory of my friend Joni Arnett takes place this Saturday, February 22nd at the El Paso Rhinos hockey game.

(EL PASO, TX) -- Peter Plesa notched a hat trick and the El Paso Rhinos scored four short-handed goals -- three on the same Wichita power play -- sweeping the Jr. Thunder in front of a sell-out crowd of 1,832 with a 12-1 win Saturday night.

It was only a few months ago that the city of Glendale was looking at losing the Coyotes but the city found a way to keep them. Now the Phoenix Coyotes, who were saved by the city of Glendale and Glendale is where they play, are going to become the Arizona Coyotes...

This past Saturday, the Calgary Flames and the Vancouver Canucks let it all out and didn't hold back any feelings of hate. On the opening puck drop, the Flames and Canucks  decided to drop the gloves and engage in an all out line brawl.

Until three minutes ago, I'd never seen one second of women's hockey, but after this video, it might be something worth checking out. Tensions rose between the USA and Canadian teams after an illegal bodycheck which lead to this massive brawl.

There is no doubt that technology has made watching sporting events more enjoyable. Turns out that other than deciding whether a puck goes into the  net, the goal cam serves an important purpose. It's a good thing this Blackhawks Ice Girl discovered it...
