I'm originally from Brooklyn, New York and moved to El Paso in 1978. After attending Coronado High School and the University of Texas, I returned to El Paso to start my professional radio career. For the last 19 years, I've hosted Sportstalk, El Paso’s longest running local radio talk show. On May 1st 2013, I was inducted into the El Paso Athletic Hall of Fame in the media category. It's quite an honor and also a sign that I'm getting old. My favorite professional sports teams are the New York Mets, Jets, Knicks, and Rangers

Tony Grijalva

Tony retired from EPISD in 2007 after spending 14 years at Franklin High School. When the school opened, he first served as position coach before spending one year as defensive coordinator. In 2000, he was appointed Head Football Coach, taking Franklin to the quarterfinals in 2005 where they lost to eventual state champion Euless Trinity at Texas Stadium. Ray is a lifelong El Pasoan and has been involved in local high school football since high school. He's served as a football official (umpire) doing high school and lower games. He's also known as an announcer for three-plus decades, doing high school, baseball, football, basketball and boxing. Ray is the originator of Friday night football at 600 ESPN while serving as a sports radio sales manager.
