This past Saturday, the Calgary Flames and the Vancouver Canucks let it all out and didn't hold back any feelings of hate.

On the opening puck drop, the Flames and Canucks  decided to drop the gloves and engage in an all out line brawl.

In the first period alone there were 188 penalty minutes, 142 of them coming within the first 5 minutes.

This really didn't come as a huge surprise considering Flames Coach Bob Hartley had his 4th line in to start the game, which led Canucks Coach John Tortorella to counter with a similar starting line.

The action didn't end in the first period or on the ice, during the first intermission coaches and players had to be separated and sent back to their locker rooms.

The Canucks did win 3-2 in a shootout but as for the fighting?.....well ill let you be the judge of that.
