For years, he was the voice of the NFL on CBS and then Fox. Pat Summerall died today at the age of 82. Summerall passed away at a Dallas hospital of an apparent cardiac arrest. He was recovering from a hip surgery.
CBS' Greg Gumbel had an unfortunate slip of the tongue on the first big day of the NCAA Tournament, saying St. Louis beat "New Mexican State". At least he wasn't calling them "New Mexico" like analyst Dan Bonner kept doing during the game.
