The amazing rookie NFL season for El Pasoan Aaron Jones will be on hold for at least the next three weeks. The Green Bay Packers running back will be out for the next 3-6 weeks from an MCL injury he suffered during the first quarter of yesterday's game against the Chicago Bears.

Jones, a 5th-round pick by the Packers from UTEP, had exploded in the last month with a pair of 100-plus yard performances to become Green Bay's starting running back. With the former Burges star sidelined, Ty Montgomery would go back to being the team's lead back. However, he re-injured his ribs yesterday and fellow rookies Jamaal Williams and Devante Mays are the only healthy options on the roster. The Packers defeated the Bears 23-16 yesterday, but they still trail the Minnesota Vikings by two games for the top spot in the NFC North.
