What’s Going On With Olivia Dunne’s Tik Tok Account?
LSU gymnast and social media influencer Olivia Dunne is once again in the headlines for things other than gymnastics. Okay, the last time she was in the headlines it was because he social media followers were disrupting a gymnastics meet but this time the reason we're seeing "Livvy" splashed all over the Internet is that concerned fans couldn't find her Tik Tok account online yesterday.
If you're not familiar with Dunne, she is not only a stellar performer on LSU's Gymnastics Squad she also has the highest Name, Image, and Likeness valuation of any women's collegiate athlete. It's estimated that Olivia's social media activity earns her an estimated $3.2 million dollars.
So it must have been quite concerning for Dunne and her fans when they went to Tik Tok on Wednesday there was no Livvy.
Just before Noon on Wednesday those searching for Dunne on the platform received a message saying the Tik Tok account couldn't be found. Then another search of the platform showed that her account @livvy with its seven million followers had been banned. Needless to say, the Internet was perplexing.
The mystery only last a short time and a few hours later Tik Tok restored Olivia's account.
Apparently, it was just a "glitch" Livvy said in her response to a confused fan on Twitter. Speaking of Twitter, that account for Dunn as well as her Instagram account both appear to be functioning normally and experienced no interruptions yesterday.
Up next for Olivia and Tiger Gymnastics team is an SEC meet with the University of Georgia. Both the Tigers and the Bulldogs are nationally ranked. LSU comes into the meet ranked #9 while Georgia is ranked #17. The meet will take place in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on campus at LSU. It is scheduled to being at 8 pm.
