Week Three of Football Friday Night took place on the night after 9/11, and no El Paso-area team played on Thursday night.  District 1-5A, the largest district in the area, began district play last week-- except for El Paso High who had a bye week.

At the SAC, Americas led Odessa Permian 7-0 for three quarters, before succumbing to Mojo 21-14.

Chapin shut-out Jefferson 45-0 at Baty-Simmang Stadium.

Irvin demolished Burges 37-6.

Andress enjoyed an easy homecoming crushing of Austin, 69-28.

Canutillo struggled early but pulled from Bowie 38-6.

Eastwood ruined rival Bel Air's homecoming plans, thumping them 68-7.

El Dorado trampled all over Gadsden 50-12.
