First Show Tickets Of New Broadway In El Paso Season Opens Friday

Broadway In El Paso returns with a new lineup featuring favorite fan classics and modern musicals for 2022 - 2023.

The new lineup will bring Hairspray, CATS, Jesus Christ Superstar, Dear Evan Hansen, The Story of Emilio, and Gloria Estephan: On Your Feet! and the long-awaited award-winning production of Hamilton with a stunning 16-show run in 2023.

Hairspray, the musical comedy phenomenon, will lead the way for the season opener with two dates in October 2022, performing at the historic Plaza Theatre in the heart of downtown El Paso.

Hairspray debuted on stage at Seattle’s 5^th Avenue Theater in June 2002, becoming an instant smash hit when it transferred to Broadway, winning eight Tony Awards and becoming the 22nd longest-running show in Broadway history.
