Monika’s love of music started at the very tender age of four years old, raised on a steady diet of all things music, from 80′s Synth Pop, New Wave, Power Ballads, Heavy Metal, Jazz, Musicals, and the standards. She was raised in Hollywood, Calif., and then moved several times, to Texas, Portland, Ore., and then again finally settling in El Paso. Besides music, her passion includes finding innovative and creative ways to make an impact in the community through the arts. She’s a true music fan who can be found singing her heart out at concerts, festivals and can be heard playing Today’s Mix middays on KISS-FM!
