Enjoy The 50th Annual New Mexico Hatch Chile Fest This Weekend
Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Hatch Chile Festival in New Mexico this Labor Day weekend.
El Paso is a little over an hour away from the Hatch, New Mexico village where it will soon be bustling with fans who love all things chile during the 50th anniversary of the Hatch Chile Festival.
New Mexico, the Chile Capitol of the World, is preparing to welcome fans from all over the region to enjoy three days and nights of family-friendly fun at this year's Hatch Chile Festival beginning on Friday, September 2, 2022.
The Hatch Chile Festival will feature a carnival, parade, artisan and food vendors, Chile roasting, entertainment, chile eating and watermelon eating contests, a kid's zone, and much more.
What To Know Before You Go:
Carnival
The Carnival will take place behind Village Market (School Street and W Hill Street). The hours will be:
- Friday 5 p.m. - 10 p.m.
- Saturday 11 a.m. - 10 p.m.
- Sunday 12 p.m. - 10 p.m.
- Ticket prices are $30 per child or adult - including all rides
Parade
- Saturday, September 3 at 9 a.m.
- The route begins near the Hatch High School and continues through the Village.
