Welp, we got the wind this past Sunday and now it’s time for the rain to join in on the fun!

According to the National Weather Service, chances for showers are on the increase for the start of this week.

Monday Forecast:

Clouds are expected to stick around throughout the day with afternoon temperatures reaching the upper 50s.

Winds are sticking around but won’t be quite as strong as what we experienced on Sunday. Gusts of up to 30 mph are expected Monday afternoon.

A 40 percent chance for showers will remain in the forecast mainly between 8 am until 5 pm. Chances for showers will decrease after 5 pm but expect those storm chances to increase late in the night into Tuesday.

Tuesday Forecast:

Expect a wet start to the day for most as storm chances will go from a 40% chance overnight Monday to a 70% chance Tuesday.

Clouds will linger and afternoon highs are expected to reach 56. Winds are sticking around again, but gusts are only expected to reach 25 mph which will put us in the lower end windy category.

Drier conditions are expected for Wednesday, but wind gusts of up to 30 mph will remain in the forecast, and we can expect 50 degree temperatures to stick around through the weekend.
