Gabe Real, the artist who originally created the El Paso Strong murals around town is back at it with two new murals honoring Vanessa Guillén.

Soon after the Walmart shootings in El Paso Gabe Real created the El Paso Strong murals across the city honoring the victims of the August tragedy and now he’s back with two new murals honoring the late Fort Hood soldier whose heinous murder gripped our nation.

Real’s first mural honoring the memory of U.S. Army soldier Vanessa Guillén went up at the Veterans Non Profit building in NE El Paso off of Dyer.  The mural is a direct copy of Guilléns military photo in her Army uniform. The mural is located at the Veterans Non Profit office at 4317 Dyer Street, not too far from the Fort Bliss Cassidy Gate entrance.
