With the Super Bowl just a few days away, you may be hearing as much about the game’s commercials and halftime show as you are about the Giants and the Patriots.

But according to a new survey of 1,186 adults, 51 percent are still looking most forward to the actual game Sunday, followed by 21 percent who will be watching for the TV commercials, and five percent (sorry Madonna) who most want to see the halftime show. Twenty-one percent said they are not looking forward to watching the game at all.

Not surprisingly, woman were more mixed on their motivations for watching than men. Thirty-eight percent of female respondents answered that they most wanted to see the game, 24 percent the commercials, five percent the halftime show, and 28 percent said they would rather be doing something else entirely.
