It has been more than two years since El Paso last hosted a major boxing event. That will change on Saturday, April 24th when Mexico's Jaime Munguia will meet Poland's Maciej Sulecki at the Don Haskins Center. The 24-year old former junior middleweight champion brings his perfect 36-0 record to El Paso for the first time to challenge the 31-year old veteran.

Munguia last fought on October 30th when he stopped Tureano Johnson in the sixth round. He is the former WBO Light Middleweight titleholder, and he held the belt for 18 months before he moved up to middleweight. Sulecki brings his 29-2 record to the Haskins Center and he fought for the WBO Middleweight title nearly two years ago when he lost a unanimous decision to Demitrius Andrade.

The fight will be promoted by Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions and tickets will go on sale next Friday, April 2nd. Seating capacity at the Don Haskins Center will be limited to only 4,000 and tickets will be priced at $60, $100, and $200. Boxing Scene reported that the show will be on DAZN.
