The Famous Chicken.

Ted Giannoulas first put on his iconic costume in 1974 as part of a radio promotion with KGB in San Diego. After more than 17,000 appearances, including sporting events, movies, trade shows, parades, and banquets, The Famous Chicken is the most well known mascot in sports history. He has his own display at the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown and it is estimated that Ted has signed more than two million autographs during his career. Giannoulas joined us yesterday evening after he flew into town to discuss his career and what keeps him going after all of these years as The Famous Chicken.
