Saturday night, the UTEP women's basketball team accomplished their season-long goals. The Miners capped off their C-USA regular season title with a comeback win over Tulane in the C-USA Tournament Championship.

The C-USA men's and women's basketball tournament could be making a return to El Paso in 2014.

The 2011 Buick C-USA Tournament officially commenced 11 a.m. at the Haskins Center.  The thing I love about conference tournaments is that for many of the teams this is their last gasp to secure a spot in the big dance.  No matter what the records or stat sheets say, these kids go all out for 40 minutes.
