It is easy to see how the New York Jets have quickly become the most hated team in the NFL. For a franchise with only one Super Bowl appearance and victory, yet they are a brash, trash-talking, cocky team. It starts with their head coach, Rex Ryan, who is a New York sports writer's dream. At times his media conferences resemble the old WWF interviews with Mean Gene Okerland. Ryan is not afraid to take on any coach, player, or team in the league and loves the attention he gets. Unlike some loudmouths, his Jets team has been able to back up all of their smack talk on the football field. The latest example was an impressive 28-21 win over their hated rivals, the New England Patriots in the AFC Divisional Finals.

Up next for Gang Green is Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers in Heinz Field. If the Jets can upset the Steelers, it would be 3 huge playoff road wins against Roethlisberger, Tom Brady, and Peyton Manning. It would also give every Jets fan a true sense that their road to Dallas was earned every step of the way. Now, I would just need to find a way to secure one ticket to the Super Bowl...
