If you go by tonight, the balance of power has shifted in Los Angeles and possibly for years to come.

Just listening to the Clippers in their post game interviews tells you that they are not satisfied with the 114-95 victory over shared city and building rival, Los Angeles Lakers.
Both Chris Paul and Chauncy Billups after the game said they have "a lot to work on". Does that tell you anything?
The game was blown wide open in the third quarter when the Clippers out scored the Lakers 36-17 to put the game out of reach.
Laker apologists can say what they want but what the Clippers did tonight was out hustle and out play the Lakers for four quarters like the Lakers have never seen from the Clippers.
The Los Angeles Clippers Chris Paul finished the game with 17 points, 9 assists, 7 rebounds and 5 steals in 24 minutes. What more could you want from a debut game?
The Lakers Kobe Bryant finished with 22 points, 3 rebounds 4 assists and 1 block with 0 steals in 30 minutes.
Say what you want, but with all of the "I like winning, I like jewelry" trash talking from Kobe, I expected a lot more.
The rematch will be this Wednesday December 21st, again at Staples Center, with the Clippers being the home team.
I just hope that the Lakers take this game seriously, because after tonight, you can bet the Clippers will and the Lakers are going to be in for another beating if they don't.
