February 20, 2013 Last Sunday, Michael Jordan celebrated his 50th birthday and caused a little controversy in the basketball world when he said that he would pick Kobe Bryant over LeBron James. The reason, according to Jordan is that Kobe has five NBA championship rings compared to James’ one title. It also made me compile a list of the 5 greatest NBA players to have never won a title.

May 10, 2012 One of the downsides to being rich is that the rich are expected to bid exorbitant amounts on mostly worthless items in charity auctions. I know they can later write off the expense, and the money goes to a worthy cause, but who really wants to drop $100,000 on a pair of slippers once worn by Marilyn Monroe?
I guess money is no object to some people who really want to own a piece of memorabilia, but I think the charity angle drives up the prices more than fandom
