The story of the game should have been Seattle’s goal-line stand against the St. Louis Rams that preserved a 14-9 hard fought victory, however, Golden Tate’s touchdown celebration seems to be the main water cooler talking point a day following Monday Night Football.

In what was the game winning score for the Seahawks, Tate was on the receiving end of a Russell Wilson bomb which resulted in an 80-yard touchdown reception after beating Janoris Jenkins who fell down trying to keep up with Tate.  After the reception was made, Tate proceeded to taunt Rodney McLeod  who was trailing the Seahawks receiver on the play.

The unsportsmanlike penalty didn’t affect the outcome of the game, but most NFL fans (and a couple Rams defenders) were none too thrilled with Tate’s antics.
