As promised, agent Drew Rosenhaus has dropped quarterback Johnny Manziel as a client. Last week Rosenhaus said publicly that Manziel needed to clean up his act and get treatment for his addictions. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, he gave Manziel five days to make strides to accomplish this and now the five day waiting period has arrived and no movement was made by Manziel so Rosenhaus has dropped him as a client.

This is the first time in 27 years of representing players that Rosenhaus has fired a client. Many hope that losing a high profile agent like Rosenhaus will be a wake up call for Manziel, but only time will tell if it makes a difference to Manziel or not.
