When Apple CEO Tim Cook showed off the new Apple 6 and 6 Plus iPhones two weeks ago, people could not wait to get their hands on one. Like four million other people, I pre-ordered the new 64GB iPhone 6 Plus and was told by my cell phone carrier that my new phone would not ship until October 28th. The advantage of waiting six weeks for my new iPhone is reading all the early reviews. People seem to love the phone, but not the construction. This week, the talk of tech world is that the iPhone 6 Plus is so thin that the aluminum constructed phone can bend inside people's pockets. Unbox Therapy's Lewis Hilsenteger gave the iPhone 6 Plus the bend test, and now their infamous YouTube video has led to #bendgate in social media.

After watching this video, I still have not changed my mind about the iPhone 6 Plus. I was planning on buying an Otterbox Defender case for it all along, so I'm not concerned about it bending. However, since so many young people choose not to case the phone and they also wear tight pants, they might want to rethink that strategy with the 6 Plus if they planned to keep it in their front pocket.
