The Andress Eagles dominated the Jefferson Silver Foxes at Baty-Simmang Stadium on Friday night.  The Eagles won the game 55-6, it turned out to be a one man show as wide receiver Eddie Sinegal had the performance of his life with 5 touchdowns, and 241 all purpose yards.

Jefferson began the game by fumbling the opening kickoff at the 3 yard line.  It didn't take long for Andress to take advantage of the Silver Foxes blunder, as 2 plays later their running back Tayshaun Gary scored on the 3 yard touchdown run.  Andress scored early and often throughout the evening, and their punter virtually had the night off, as the eagles tallied points off virtually every possession.

Jefferson was quite simply flat offensively all night long.  This was quite evident by the fact that they scored their first and only points with 5:52 to go in the 4th quarter.  Andress quarterback Ryan Metz had a solid performance throwing 4 touchdown passes, all to his favorite target of the night, Eddie Sinegal.

The Silver Foxes had no answer for Sinegal, 2 of his 5 touchdowns were 40 yards or more, and he had a 61 yard punt return for a touchdown as well.  The loss drops Jefferson to 1-4 on the season, 0-2 in District 1-4A play.  They will have their hands full as they travel to Jones Stadium to take on El Paso High next Friday night.

Andress is now 2-3 on the season, and 1-1 in District 1-4A with the victory.  The Eagles will face Bowie at home next week.  For Andress this could be the beginning of a hot streak to finish off the rest of the season.  When a team has a weapon like wide receiver Eddie Sinegal, great things can happen.
