Earlier today, 600 ESPN El Paso and the El Paso Chihuahuas announced that they will be extending their broadcast partnership for the next three years.

"Chihuahuas baseball has quickly become the top sporting attraction in El Paso," Townsquare Media of El Paso Market President Brad Dubow said. "We are proud to be part of the play-by-play action with Tim Hagerty, and we look forward to another championship run."

In only three years, the Chihuahuas have made two playoff runs, captured the PCL title, and hosted the Triple-A National Championship Game. 600 ESPN El Paso has aired each of their 144 regular season games, the PCL All Star Game, and playoff games. The 2017 season will begin on April 6th when the Chihuahuas host Las Vegas at Southwest University Park. Hagerty will be entering his 14th season broadcasting Minor League Baseball and he has been the radio voice of the Chihuahuas since they moved to El Paso in 2014.

"We are proud to continue our very successful relationship with Townsquare and KROD 600 AM ESPN," MountainStar Sports Group President Alan Ledford said in the team press release. "Chihuahuas fans can listen to Tim Hagerty and follow all Chihuahuas games at Southwest University Park and throughout the Borderplex. We’re thrilled to be working with Brad Dubow, Steve Kaplowitz, and the entire Townsquare team to bring the best in Triple-A Baseball to our fans for each and every regular and post-season game."
