Yahoo Sports is reporting LSU head basketball coach Will Wade and Arizona's Sean Miller will be subpoenaed for the federal basketball corruption trial on April 22.

The subpoena raises the possibility of two high-profile coaches testifying in federal court about the recruiting underworld in college basketball.  This could raise some uneasy times for both schools both from the perception of having to testify and the potential for some uneasy responses under oath.

It was previously reported that both Wade and Miller were on wiretap transcripts talking to Christian Dawkins, who was found guilty on multiple fraud charges in the first trial back in October.  The subpoenas raise the possibility of those tapes being played at the trial.  Wade's name came up in the October trial in connection with a conversation with Dawkins about a recruit named Balsa Koprivica.  When questioned about the issue during SEC Media Day, Wade said he had "never, ever done business of any kind with Christian Dawkins."  But it is possible Wade could also be on tape talking about other recruits other than Koprivica.

LSU spokesman MIchael Bonnette said through a text message that LSU would have no comment.  Wade, when asked about the matter in his weekly press conference, said he has been focused on his team and has not been following it.
