The UTEP men's basketball team is facing yet another schedule change. This time, the rescheduling shows positive signs, though.

Following their cancelation for the Florida Atlantic series last weekend, the Miners had to conduct subsequent contact tracing after a member of the program tested positive for COVID-19.

The program announced they would push their home series against Charlotte to Saturday and Sunday, instead of their originally scheduled Friday-Saturday games. Their first game on Saturday will have a 4 p.m. tip-off while Sunday's start will take place at 1 p.m.

The Miners (10-10, 6-8 C-USA) swept Florida International in their previous home series before seeing their road games against FAU canceled. Charlotte (9-11, 5-7 C-USA) has lost four consecutive games, including losses to Middle Tennessee and Old Dominion. Similar to the Miners, the 49ers had their series against UTSA canceled last weekend.
