For El Paso baseball fans, the start of the Triple-A season is a little more than six months away. Before we find out the name of the team that will play in the yet-to-be-named downtown El Paso ballpark, the current Triple-A season is almost over. The Durham Bulls won the International League playoffs while the Omaha Storm Chasers captured the Pacific Coast League postseason title. Tonight, both teams will slug it out for nine innings for Triple-A bragging rights. Since 2009, the playoff winners from both leagues have staged a one game showdown for the overall Triple-A champions. Durham beat Memphis in the inaugural game while Omaha lost to Columbus in the 2011 contest.

Team 600 will have all the action from Coca-Cola Park in Allentown, Pennsylvania (home of the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs) beginning at 5pm tonight. Jake Odorizzi will start for the Bulls and Chris Dwyer will oppose him for the Stormchasers. Former El Paso Diablos radio voice Brett Pollock is in his third season as a member of the Omaha broadcast team and will be part of the broadcast tonight. Brett will join Sportstalk at the beginning of today's show to preview the Triple-A finale.
