This is Your Chance to Name El Paso’s Triple-A Team

Owners of the Mountain Start Sports Group announced the acquisition of the Tucson Padres. The press conference took place at the Plaza Theatre with the presence of Mayor John Cook and a visit from the Pacific Coast League's President, Branch B. Rickey.

Some listeners on today's edition of Sports Spin expressed concern over whether the team is here to stay or if present lawsuits or legal issues can detract from the acquisition. Mayor Cook laid all these worries to rest as he mentioned there will be Triple-A, come 2014.
