The Multiple Benefits of Yoga
Check out my conversation with yoga instructor Jordan Bryant on some of the benefits of practicing yoga.
It’s been a hot minute since I’ve gotten back to Krav Maga at Total Defense El Paso since I injured my heel on vacation but now that it’s all healed I thought it best to warm up before jumping full throttle and decided to try yoga first.
Enter Jordan Bryant – she is one of the awesome instructors at Total Defense El Paso where I take my Krav Maga classes. It’s been about a month since I began taking yoga classes with her and the multitude of benefits has been eye-opening, to say the least.
Speaking to Jordan she explained how practicing yoga can help not just the body but impacts mood, mind, and overall wellbeing.

I love how practicing yoga is low impact yet effective to keep you strong at your core. There are varied types of yoga so take the time to find the one that fits you and your comfort level so make sure you do some research when signing up for a class. Most yoga places offer a drop-in class for a small fee or sometimes even free before you commit to a monthly plan.
