Stunning Timelapse Shows the Jones AT&T Stadium Fill With Red
This weekend was a dream come true for Red Raider fans. Not only did we beat one of our biggest rivals, but we did it on our home turf for the first time since 2008.
What really makes games like these so special is not only our team’s strong performance and success, but the fans that share these moments with the team they love. Texas Tech fans are the best in college football, and sitting in that stadium while our team plays is one of the most powerful things you can experience.
The energy is high, the chants are loud, and the feeling is absolutely electric.
This weekend was no exception with a sold-out stadium packed to the brim with fans. Not only was this game packed, but it was a red-out. This meant that a sea of scarlet filled those seats, cheering on our boys to a well-deserved victory.
If you were at the game, you saw the seats gradually fill with red, feeling the power of our fan base fill the stadium. If you weren’t there, or simply wanting to relive the feeling, you have to see this timelapse KMAC News posted of the stadium before the game on Saturday.
You can see the initial rush of students filling their section before the trickle of the other ticket holders made their way in. Seeing the red and white seats of the stadium go completely scarlet is beautiful to see, and I’m sure our team loved seeing it as well.
