Schedule Update: UTEP Basketball to Play Road Game Against #18 Arizona State

The Miners will have an opportunity to face a top-25 opponent in their non-conference slate with Arizona State added to their schedule on Wednesday, Dec. 16.

Rodney Terry's assessment of his schedule being a "work in progress" held true with the news that broke late Friday.

UTEP released their full 2020-21 schedule earlier this week, featuring four non-conference games against UTPB, Arizona, Sul Ross and St. Mary's. Coach Terry made it known that he wants to continue to add more opponents to the schedule this year.

The Sun Devils start off the season as the highest-ranked Pac-12 program in the preseason AP Top 25 poll at No. 18. In addition, they were also selected by Pac-12 media members to finish second in the conference behind UCLA.
