Political Candidate Promises Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl Win If Elected Governor

So a few weeks ago while watching the Cardinals vs the Cowboys I saw a political ad and in that ad he promises that if he is elected governor then the Dallas Cowboys would win another ring.

Now I don't know what this candidate knows about football but I don't think electing a certain person over another is a viable option. But it does sound like better option then anything Jerry Jones has been able to do over the last 30 years.

Let's list some of Jerry's mistakes over the years.

• Passing on Randy Moss
• Letting Jimmy Johnson go
• Trading for Joey Galloway
• Hiring Rob Ryan
• Hiring Jason Garrett
• 2011 Super bowl error
• Not staying off the field

And there are serval more mistakes but those are the few that I could think of off the top of my head. Truthfully I think this candidate is just upset that the Buccaneers got a ring before the Cowboys got another.

But we all know that the Buccaneers only got a ring is because of Tom Brady. Because without Brady, Rob Gronkowski wouldn't come out of retirement to join the Buccaneers. You also have Antonio Brown who would of never joined the Buccaneers without Brady. And the Buccaneers them self would not be as good and would be sitting at 5 or 7 wins and sitting in 3rd or 4th place in the NFC South.

But I think the biggest flaw in this candidate plan is the fact that the Super Bowl takes place in February and the election for Texas Governor is in November. So maybe don't vote for someone only because he promised your team a super bowl ring.
