I couldn't be happier that the NBA 2013-14 Season is finally here ... well almost, just one more day to go!!

On Tuesday, October 29th at 6PM, the Miami Heat will not only receive their newest Championship rings, but they will also raise another banner to the rafters before the season opener against the Chicago Bulls. This is their 2nd banner in a span of 12 months (3rd in 7 years).

It is being said that there will be yellow lanyards for the fans as a reminder of the yellow rope that security personnel used to cordon off the court in the last seconds of regulation of Game 6 as it looked that the San Antonio Spurs would take home the title. Ray Allen scored the famous 3-pointer with 5.2 seconds left, which made the Heat tie the game, take it to overtime and win it!!

The Miami Heat will wear specially designed warm-ups and uniforms; all with gold effects to signify the colors of the Championship Trophy. Said jersey will only be worn on opening night and will be 1 of 10 as the team plans to wear at various games this season.

There have been some leaked previews of the Miami Heat intro. Can't wait to see that ... they usually rock that out! Also, have you seen the commercial Lebron James did for Nike filmed around Miami?! Check it out:
