Effective immediately, Sun Metro is adjusting its operating hours in response to COVID-19 by eliminating evening operations.

In new efforts to help contain the spread of COVID-19 and to make sure that residents remain at home due to the stay home, work from home order, Sun Metro has implemented new customer service hours.

New Customer Service Hours:

  • Monday through Saturday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

According to Sun Metro, the new hours, which include flexible work schedules, will help aid the protection for customer service representatives in line with social distancing requirements. The modified customer service hours follow reduced service hours for fixed, LIFT and Brio routes.

While Sun Metro's customer service line will remain open they do offer an online option for any questions via contact.sunmetro.net to assist with customer service and reduce call wait times.

At this time the Streetcar continues to be suspended until further notice.

Public health officials continue to urge that everyone follow these simple steps:

  • Stay home
  • If you are sick or feeling under the weather
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze or use the inside of your elbow.
  • Throw used tissues in the trash and immediately wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

The El Paso Department of Public Health (DPH) continues to urge residents to follow prevention measures such as washing our hands and by self-isolating as much as possible.
