The "El Paso Strong" t-shirts with the star were instrumental in raising money for victims after the August 3rd Walmart shooting in El Paso. Viva La Mocha, the company behind the iconic design, quickly created and started making the shirts and selling them to people in the El Paso area with the goal of donating the money to the victim's families.

The shirt design quickly exploded in popularity and they were inundated with orders from around the world. Celebrities spotted in the design included Aquaman himself Jason Mamoa and more. Now Viva La Mocha has created a new shirt design similar to the El Paso Strong one to help out animals in need in the Borderland.

The new "El Pawso Strong" t-shirt has the same yellow star design but instead of dots, the shirt has little paw prints making up the El Paso star. The shirts are $25 and the proceeds from the t-shirt sales will benefit local animal rescues.

Co-owner of Viva La Mocha Monica Monarrez told us their El Paso Strong shirt idea is all about helping people in the community. Viva La Mocha has seen so many stories recently of shelters and rescues being overwhelmed with animals and desperately needing help. The shirt is their way of doing their part to help our four-legged friends in our community.

Some of the local animal rescues who will benefit from the shirt include:
