The El Paso Rhinos are ready to bring back their annual Teddy Bear Toss tradition and the community is invited to this heartwarming experience.

The annual Teddy Bear Toss at the Rhinos Arena will be happening beginning Friday, March 29th until March 31st 2024.

The El Paso Rhinos will continue to dedicate their Teddy Bear Toss to the memory of Joni Arnett who passed away in July of 2007.

Arnett was a former model, UTEP professor, Rhino season ticket holder, and well-respected member of the community.

The Teddy Bear Toss isn't just about the excitement of watching stuffed animals rain down onto the ice after the Rhinos score their first goal. It's a heartwarming tradition that sees these teddy bears find new homes with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Offices, providing comfort to children in need during challenging times.

On Saturday, the Rhinos will also be honored with the Purple Heart Sports Team designation from the United American Veterans Organization, a recognition of their commitment to honoring the sacrifices of our brave veterans.

Beyond the on-ice action, fans can expect a weekend packed with excitement and appreciation. From special giveaways courtesy of the Brian Burds Home Selling Team to appearances by none other than the Easter Bunny himself, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

So if you have no plans this weekend, then mark your calendars for this annual tradition. It's more than just a game—it's a chance to come together as a community and make a difference both on and off the ice.
