Sure, supermarkets are sure to be loaded with pumpkins at your convenience, but where's the fun in that? Fall is all about putting on a cute sweater and heading out with loved ones to pick out the perfect pumpkin to carve!

Now, I know in Texas, our autumn season can still be a bit hot, so the cute sweater may need to just stay in the car, but we won't let the heat keep us from all the fun that comes with visiting a pumpkin patch.

If you're looking to check out some pumpkin patches this fall, check out these ten must-visit pumpkin patches in Texas.

Celebrate the fall season, and the spooky season, at these 10 fun pumpkin patches across the state of Texas!

Some of these won't open until the fall season officially starts, which is usually mid-September. And some of these pumpkin patches are actually open year-round! Some of them celebrate almost every holiday under the sun, like Easter and Christmas.

Some are attached to corn mazes, which is another fun fall activity. The El Paso pumpkin patch is also where the corn maze is, and every year we look forward to finding out what the corn maze theme will be!

Whichever pumpkin patch you choose to visit, there's sure to be fun had all around; campfires, pumpkin carving contests and, of course, good food, are always provided at pumpkin patches. In the end, you get yourself a pretty cool pumpkin to carve, and maybe some great memories that will last you a lifetime!
