The beloved pizza-and-arcade restaurant was a popular hangout for families across the El Paso area. Even though it closed years ago, a recent Facebook post sent locals straight back to those memories.

And judging by the comments, a lot of people haven’t forgotten it.

The concept was simple: pizza, arcade games, and birthday parties, a setup that made it feel similar to Peter Piper Pizza. Some El Pasoans even remember it as a more affordable version of Peter Piper, with cheaper prices but still great pizza and plenty of fun.

For plenty of El Pasoans, it was the kind of place where childhood memories were made, the kind that come rushing back the moment someone mentions it.

A Nostalgic Piece of El Paso Childhood

While the restaurants eventually disappeared, the memories clearly didn’t.

Peter Piper Pizza eventually took ownership of the Pistol Pete's and today it still offers a similar pizza-and-arcade experience for families in El Paso. But for many, Pistol Pete’s Pizza represents a specific moment in time growing up here- birthday parties, arcade tokens, and nights out with family.

It may be gone, but judging by the reaction online, Pistol Pete’s Pizza is still very much alive in El Paso memories.
