Hanks Wide Receiver Patrick Pettis Gets Offer From Ole Miss

Hanks senior wide receiver Patrick Pettis is starting to garner some national attention.  The six foot 185 pounder runs a 4.4 40 and has great hands.  With his route running ability, he has the chance to be a great slot receiver at the next level.

Pettis is being recruited by NMSU, New Mexico, TCU, and Texas Tech.  However, Ole Miss from the SEC has swooped in and given Pettis an offer.

I would love to see Pettis keep his talents in El Paso and play for UTEP, but I certainly wouldn't begrudge him the rare opportunity to play against the best in the country.
