Football Friday Nights Are Back: Schedule for Week One of TXHSFB

High school football season is finally here on the borderland, as teams all across the city gear up to start the new season.

This week will feature some key non-district matchups, along with nine new local head coaches that will make their debut.

Thursday night, 600 ESPN will provide play-by-play coverage of Eastlake vs. Canutillo. Brandon Cohn and I will have the coverage set for Thursday night live at the SAC. You can listen live here.

This Friday starting at 6 p.m., we'll give you a special early edition preview of the opening weekend of the new season. We will have reporters strung throughout the region and our featured Game of the Week will be Parkland vs. Burges.
