6-1 (5-0)The Cougs took advantage of the Angel Garcia-less Montwood Rams in a 38-17 Thursday victory. Franklin travels to Eastwood on Friday.

5-1 (3-1)Amercias could have picked their number against Socorro. The Trailblazers will travel to equally struggling Bel Air on Friday.

4-2 (3-1)The Rams dropped a spot after falling to Franklin on Thursday. Quarterback Angel Garcia should be back for Friday's home game against Coronado.

6-1 (4-1)The Aztecs had little problem with Eastwood on Thursday. El Dorado gets a bye week before a date at Franklin on Thursday, Oct. 20th.

6-0 (3-0)The unfocused Mustangs got their act together in the fourth quarter to down upset minded Jefferson 39-21. Burges will get their toughest test of the year on Friday, a game versus Chapin at Irvin.

5-1 (2-0)The Conquistadores were idle last week. The travel to Canutillo on Friday for a key 2-4A showdown.
