Elephants Set to Predict Super Bowl Winner at El Paso Zoo
The El Paso Zoo is getting football fever by having two of the zoo’s elephants predict the winner of this year’s Super Bowl game.
According to the El Paso Zoo, elephants Juno and Savannah will be predicting a winner this Saturday at the elephant exhibit at 12:15 p.m.
This year the Super Bowl teams that will go head to head include the NFC South Champions, Atlanta Falcons against the AFC East Champions, the New England Patriots. Who wins is anybody’s guess but maybe Savannah and Juno have a better instinct and will predict correctly before the game on Sunday, February 5th, 2017.
The break down on picking the winning team will consist of each elephant selecting one of the helmet-shaped piñatas that will be placed out for them and visitors to see. No word on what happens if both elephants pick opposing teams...maybe there's a do over. Either way, families and sports fans alike are encouraged to wear their favorite football team’s jersey and celebrate a weekend of fun, family and the Super Bowl over the weekend.
