Last week, I wrote about a new video series created by Cody Decker involving his dad Jay. With the help of mixologist and friend Chris Schaefer, Jay would review classic movies while drinking cocktails throughout the film. The first Daddy's Drunk Movie Review explores the classic 1985 film Back to the Future, which led to a pair of sequels.

Rotten Tomatoes gives the movie starring Michael J. Fox, 96% on the tomatometer, with an audience score of 94%. IMDB users rate it 8.5 out of 10, and I have always liked the film from the first time I watched it in the theater as a 12-year old. However, all that matters is in this case is the opinion of a 64-year old getting snookered on his couch while enjoying the movie.

Schaefer made a pair of popular cocktails, one from 1985 (Lone Pine Amaretto Sour) and the other from 1955 (Marvin Berry Manhattan) and he served Jay both while he watched Back to the Future. After five cocktails, Decker was pretty toasted but somehow was coherent enough to give his final verdict on Back to the Future while dozing off on his couch.

It is only one episode, but I am a fan of Daddy's Drunk Movie Reviews. I like the concept, but most of all we get to see how much Jay Decker's alcohol tolerance will build up after every review.
