More COVID 19 testing sites are opening to accommodate the El Paso community getting tested.

With no current vaccine for the novel coronavirus the Department of Public Health, the El Paso City-County Office of Emergency Management along with the Ysleta Independent School District are joining forces to offer free COVID-19 drive-thru testing at three new sites.

New Sites:

  • YISD Central Office, 9600 Sims Drive
  • Ysleta Pre-K Center, 7940 Craddock
  • North Star Elementary School, 5950 Sean Haggerty Drive

The testing is available by appointment at the YISD sites by calling the district’s hotline at (915) 434-1092 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays.

Testing is free from 8 a.m. to noon Monday - Friday now through June 5, 2020, and is available to members of the community who are symptomatic (with symptoms) or asymptomatic (without symptoms) of COVID-19 and especially for those in high-risk groups.

The CDC guidelines continue to urge everyone to continue washing our hands, social distance and wear a face-covering when out to help curb the spread of COVID 19. El Paso residents who have any health questions can call the city’s hotline at 915 - 21-COVID or visit epstrong.org.
