Chuco Relic Is Turning 10 & Celebrating With A 915 Chuco Fiesta

915 Day is right around the corner and so is the 10-year anniversary of everyone’s favorite local souvenir store, Chuco Relic.

To celebrate their 10-year anniversary, Chuco Relic will be celebrating OTHER businesses with a weeks long Chuco Fiesta.

“We’re going to be celebrating our Chuco Fiesta which is a chance to showcase businesses around the city,” said Joel Estrada, Project Manager for Chuco Relic.

Participants can visit any Chuco Relic store and get a special VIP card that they take around to participating businesses to get 15% off any purchase.

If participants collect 9 businesses they can collect prizes from Chuco Relic, with the biggest prize being a ticket to the One Region, One Table dinner.

The festivities will also include a Chuco Tour that will take guests across the city to showcase iconic El Paso landmarks.

“The tour will let you explore El Paso like a tourist and help you learn more about what makes our city awesome,” said Estrada.

The tour is limited to 50 seats and costs $35. Tickets include A FREE Chuco Relic anniversary t-shirt, a shot of El PErro Grande Tequila and a $5 voucher that guests can use at the Chuco Fiesta Market that will be happening right after the tour.

“So the Chuco Fiesta market is going to be hosted by Sun City Dreamers,” said Estrada. “It will take place here at Chuco Relic Central from 6 pm to 10 pm and it will feature vendors that we already have here in the store and new vendors that we hope to someday support.”

The Chuco Fiesta celebration is a way for Chuco Relic to celebrate how much their small business has grown in the past ten years, but it is also a way for business owners to celebrate and support other local small businesses.

“It’s important because when you support local you're kind of also supporting those dreams of other small business owners,” said Estrada.
