Barnett Harley Davidson recently announced the closure of their Las Cruces location after a 20-year run serving the Mesilla Valley.

As unfortunate as this is, Barnett Harley Davidson are not leaving their Las Cruces area customers high and dry. They understand that these folks still need their bikes serviced and/or repaired and they understand that some may not be able to make the trip to the El Paso Barnett Harley Davidson location. According to an announcement on the Las Cruce locations' Facebook page, they plan to schedule regular "service" runs, transporting bikes back and forth between El Paso and Las Cruces:

We plan to offer a pick-up service for customers who want their bikes serviced, but don't want to make the trip to El Paso. Our truck and trailer will be at the LC dealership parking lot to pick up bikes of customers who have made reservations through this program. We'll get your bike to El Paso, and you will communicate by phone with Service Writer, and pay by phone once bike service is complete. We'll send the bike back to LC on the next run. - Facebook

Las Cruces area customers can also buy parts this way. All they need to do is simply order them and pay for them by phone, then pick them up when the next service run returns to Las Cruces. The El Paso Barnett Harley Davidson location at 8272 Gateway East will continue to operate as normal following the Las Cruces store's official closing on September 30th.
