Have you ever seen those pictures of people who are watching the movie "Jaws" while on a body of water- like a lake, or a pool? Have you ever felt a twinge of envy while seeing those pictures and thought "why can events like that happen here in El Paso?"? Well, envy no more because something like that is officially happening in the Sun City!

No, we don't have a lake to do it, but we do have the opportunity to see "Jaws" while lounging in a pool! It's all thanks to the El Paso Parks & Recreation who are hosting a FREE event- and the cool part about it? It's free (I know you like free stuff!) and it's "ADULTS ONLY". It's a real life "adult swim!"

Play hooky one day at work and head on over to the Beast Urban Park (located at 13501 Jason Crandall Dr.) where they're going to be showing the 1975 classic "Jaws". It's all happening on Friday (8/20) at 11 A.M. (which is why I said you have to play hooky). Calling it "Adults Day Off at the Pool" this event is adults only. The pool will open to the first 20 participants, all other participants are welcome on the spectator lobby, so you're going to want to be on time!

This sounds like such an interesting event, and a great way to beat the heat. If you're interested and have more questions you could call at (915) 212-0580. As summer draws to a close and city pools begin to shut down, this sounds like a great event to end the summer!
