World’s Strongest Man, Brian Shaw Breaks World Record Deadlifting 973.5 Pounds

Warning: There is a distinct possibility you could suffer a massive hernia or even have your guts torn out of your body just from watching this ridiculous video.

Brian Shaw, the World’s Strongest Man proves that he is just that: Strong. Over the weekend, that beef-neck bastage broke a world record when he deadlifted 973.5 pounds.

Surprisingly, lifting that much weight doesn’t appear to be that difficult for Shaw, but then again, some of us here at the station get light headed just trying to dig our cell phones out of our pockets. It’s all about perspective… and maybe a heavy duty jock strap.
