By the time you're stuffing your face with a second or third plate of Thanksgiving dinner, the UTEP Miners will be taking on the Oklahoma Sooners in Orlando.  UTEP and Oklahoma tip of at 5 pm on Thursday, Nov. 22.  The game will be televised nationally on ESPN2.

The Old Spice Classic is a double elimination tournament, and UTEP will be guaranteed a second game against either Clemson or Gonzaga on Friday.  The tournament also features West Virginia, Marist, Davidson, and Vanderbilt.

UTEP and Oklahoma will square off for the second time in four seasons.  The Miners tipped the Sooners, 89-74, in the All College Classic on Dec. 21, 2009 in Oklahoma City.  UTEP Coach Tim Floyd and Oklahoma coach Lon Kruger will match wits for the second time.  On March 17, 1995, Floyd’s Iowa State Cyclones topped Kruger’s Florida Gators, 64-61, in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
