As the case against Aaron Hernandez continues to mount, the New England Patriots and University of Florida continue to act like the former football star never existed. A few weeks ago, the Patriots gave all fans who purchased Hernandez jerseys through their pro shop an opportunity to exchange them for another New England player. That free exchange promotion was a huge hit, although some people kept their jerseys or sold them on eBay.

The University of Florida is now trying to erase the memory of their former standout tight end. The school recently removed the brick commemorating Hernandez's All-American honor with the Gators from Ben Hill Griffin stadium. To make matters worse, the Attleboro District Court just released grainy surveillance photos showing Hernandez holding what appears to be a pistol.
